Flowers for Mother.

When I was little it was the tradition for children in Sunday School to give our Mother a bunch of Violets on Mothering Sunday.

When my own children were in Sunday School they gave me a small bunch of daffodils (or a single one) on Mothering Sunday.

There was no floral gift for Mothers at church today.

However the tradition arose, it still feels good to be appreciated on a special day and, with the cards, this is what my lovely children gave me today.
