Sunny but frosty

The flower buds of this saxifrage are ready to burst when early spring arrives.

We went out to the allotment to fill up the bird feeders and check things out. A pair of mice had settled among our clothes in the bottom drawer in the chest of drawers. Unfortunately we had to drive the happy couple away from the little nest they had built in (and of) my trousers and jersey. They were so cute! Hope they find another sheltered place to give birth to their young ones.
