Heart of Green

Can you guess what this is?

The color reminds me of the wonderful novel Green Mansions.

It's a ship's light. They were used to plug little holes in the decks so that light could come down into the hold without too much water getting in, too.

I was feeling kind of blue today...needed a good strong shot of green.
