horns of wilmington's cow

Castling

Crichton Castle. In the rain. Interesting place though, with some impressive sandstone carving, and a nice start to the 'Week of Freedom' (or WoF as it shall now be known).

Getting to grips with people I want/need to see over the next few days, and how to fit everything in, while still doing stuff I want to do (in some cases this does coincide with what others want to do - looking forward to a walk along the Water of Leith on Wednesday with friends Iain and Mary, followed by dinner once added to by Mel, then the pub quiz). To the 'personal' end of matters I've got the Kaff serviced for a long ride on Friday (wind willing), possibly in the same place that today's Red Grouse was spotted, and tomorrow after lunch there may be a wildlife hunt.

That's all the planning anyway, we'll see how closely reality sticks to that!

Looking back on old blips, as I get a couple of years back now, and soon will be three, I really need to start writing more interesting (i.e. ranty) things in here again. Ah'll 'ave a fink and get back to you on that...
