Tulipa tarda

Back to the flowers! This beautiful minature tulip, right by the front door, just came out today. I had to protect the pots of bulbs in the greenhouse after I planted them to stop the squirrels eating them.
We used to have red squirrels who were fine but now the grey have taken over and are real pests.
