Julia

While I have raved about the beach food vendors here in Zihua others are more likely to relate to those vendors selling goods, like Julia here. We met her one of our first days on the beach and have seen her off and on ever since. Instead of working during the heat of the day like most vendors do, she works the late shift, starting her trip down beach around five, so we only see her when we are having a sunset drink. Even though there are not as many potential customers then there is less competition. The slower pace also gives us a chance to chat with her, find out about her family, and occasionally buy a necklace or bracelet. She is always smiling, whether we or anyone else buys or not.
