Alpine

The trouble with my rockery is that the alpines all burst out together and then they're gone. This tiny tiny red one is tucked away in a corner, albeit sunny, so it has avoided been taken over by the rampant violets which, this year, are also coming up through the lawn! If I forget to look for it, I miss it, so I'm preserving the first flower for posterity.
