Surprise tulips

Every year inverclyde council plants impressive floral displays around Gourock outdoor pool, but this year the site has been neglected as the beautiful old art deco
Building has been pulled down in the name of health & safety. It is such a pity and the resulting building site which has remained stagnant since the demolition is truly depressing. This wee crop of hardy tulips have survived all the commotion and were a cheery contrast to wet, grey day.
