Dresden

Statues damaged in the fire-bombing of Dresden in World War II await restoration. As a huge fan of Kurt Vonnegut I couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit Dresden, but I never got to see the slaughterhouse where he and his fellow prisoners of war sheltered during the bombing.
