The train now on platform 1....

After the removal of a very ugly bridge, we now have a great view of Victorian wrought iron fretwork. This is such a lovely station but over the years there have been too many ugly modern additions which really don't fit. I was pleased to see the bridge go but it is being rebuilt on the other side of the platform and it is going to be just as bad as it was.

No blip yesterday, spent most of the day washing and ironing and had to work in Wimbledon stadium today so I had an early night. It was a glorious day here today. Had two great groups but not having done Wimbledon for a month I was amazed how much I had forgotten again.
