The Land of Canals and Power Stations

Backblip: After a fairly relaxed drive down to Yorkshire to visit my mother-in-law for a few days I managed a quick evening walk down to the canal to be greeted by this picturesque scene of canal, a barge, some cooling towers and a load of plastic bottles (look closely).

The new car proved to be quite a joy to drive on the motorways with it's cruise control and our fears of squeezing three kids onto the back seat were not realised. We managed the whole journey is peace and quiet without any real arguments!
