On Nairn beach

A blip of a blipper and his dog. Two can play at that game, Dad.

We started the day at Nairn beach, which was sunny compared to drooked Inverness. It was a day of cleaning and sorting Gran's house. Between Mum and I, Dad, cousin-in-law Mark, Auntie Sheena, Uncle Ian and Cillit Bang, we got everything ship-shape. We had fun looking through the suitcases of photographs, all decades jumbled in together and lots of babies in christening robes. Of course, there are no dates so we're going to have to do some detective work. Gran was a Wren during the war and was at Londonderry when the German u-boats surrendered and King George VI came to speak. We've found photographs of both occasions. I'm going to scan them in and see how they fare. The old photographs are fascinating.
