magnolia blooms in the sun.........

.......... each spring for the last 18 years or so we have watched our magnolia blossom. Most years there has been a frost before the blooms are fully open and we have been left with brown, unsightly blobs on the end of the branches.
This year they bloomed late and are perfect!!
