A good Honest picture....

Once again in our garden on a fab amd glorious Saturday. We have a veritable forest of Honesty in the shade to the right of the garden next to the fence. At this time of year it provides a feast of colour in purple drifts and later in the year we see the seed cases showing as golden coins in profusion.

Lots of Newt activity in the pond again and frogs as well. We saw our first Water Boatmen of the year today and more Holly Blue Butterflies as well. These occur in two distinct phases; one lot around this time of the year and another later on in the year depending on whether the Holly is flowering or the Ivy.
