Across Oyce toward the Brough of Birsay

It was foggy at first but it soon burned off and it was sunny all day, though I could see the fog lurking some miles offshore.
I walked the cliffs from Costa Head along to Buckquoy and the village of Birsay. It was a great walk, the wind of yesterday was now a balmy breeze. The image was taken when I stopped to make coffee. Saw my first puffins of the year, just two wee birds among the hundreds of guillemots. Three wheatears had just arrived from Africa in time to say see ya to a snow bunting that'll be heading for Greenland or Scandinavia.More photos here.
