First BBQ of the summer...

Lovely afternoon out in the garden, the first barbecue of many I hope.

Gary's daughters bought him this mega bbq a few years ago & we have all benefited - every time there is a bit of sunshine at the weekend, he is out barbecuing. Today was fairly low key for him, sausages, chicken, sweetcorn and skewers of cubed belly pork & chorizo. My contribution was a bowl of salad, not out of a packet either! Even better, his daughter made chocolate brownies which we had warmed up with vanilla ice-cream for afters - delicious.

There's a big plate of meat left over but we'll be having sausage sandwiches for breakfast tomorrow which will take care of some of it. No brownies left, strangely.
