End of a lovely day

Yesterday someone told me that it was meant to be icy next week. I still don't know if they were exaggerating or trying to pull my leg, however hubby and I decided to make the most of the lovely weather in case it was the last day. We went to Southend first to buy new walking shoes then walked from Leigh-on-sea back to Southend, hardly a big trek I know but at least our shoes passed the test.

This pic was taken on our way back and it would have been missed if we didn't sit and stop to give our dog a rest (well I couldn't say we needed a rest too!)
