We were at a family get-together.

I took a contribution of the pud known to me from time immemorial as 'Barmouth Log'.
(Owing to the fact that it used to be made from Barmouth biscuits, when they were still manufactured. They're not made now, more's the pity but that's a grumble for another day. Langues de chat biscuits suffice in their place these days).

Anyway, the pud's been renamed, since the birthday girl (83 years young) misheard me, and said how much she's enjoyed the 'Farmer's Log'.

Farmer's Log anyone? Thought not.
