Alpha Incident

Hanami

The blossoms usually don't fall down in clumps like this.

Grabbed a spot at around 5 a.m. for our cherry blossom viewing today. You rarely find pictures of complete cherry blossom trees in Tokyo because when in bloom their bases are almost permanently covered in blue tarpaulins. The tarp next to mine was unmanned so I through dirt and rocks on it. When the idiots showed up at 11 a.m. they spent the first 15 minutes wiping down every inch of it.
