Scotts Garden and River Wye

It's really windy in Bakewell today, but the sun when it comes out from behind the speeding clouds its gorgeous.
I'm persisting with the infrared technique and here is a shot taken from Bakewell bridge looking up the river next to Scotts garden.
The meadow was given to Bakewell in the 1930's and is a really popular place for a spot of picnicking.
During Carnival week a Raft Race is held down the river and on a long summers evening its a wonderful sight to behold as over a 100 rafts in all shapes and sizes make their way down towards the showground finish.
