The end results of a whirlwind painting adventure. Not yet signed or framed, but finished!

Cynthia is off back home to put on the final touches and then will be back on Thursday for a reception at Manatee Arts Center.

No photograph can do justice to art painted on canvas - the layers, the subtle effect of underpainting, the brush strokes, and the light and colors. Somewhere between strictly representational and impressionist, the plein air style is fresh and filled with the immediate moment.
