Toots in Solitude

By Toots

Don't you just love a bright day to go pon, pon poncing about in Princess Street.

These models, having a Doris Day, may think they look just the ticket,
but there, in the dark shadowy reflection, is the gloried one.
What I wear around my neck is far more prestigious than
office chains that hang burdensomely around a Mayors neck;
is far richer than a sable fur draped jauntily on some super star;
and more valued than glittering diamonds.
It is, of course, the camera strap.
Slip one over the neck and a surge of intelligence concentrates itself in the brain and you know you look good.

(The shopping trolley?
This one is the Rolls Royce of all trolleys and not a let-down at all.)
