A closer view of yesterday's church in Estonia

plus an intriguing, anonymous, quotation about Orthodoxy in general (that I've reworked just a little bit and) that hints that there may be somewhat different ~ but still ancient and authentic ~ paradigms at work here than we might have thought much about in the West:

"The Orthodox Church is evangelical, but not Protestant; orthodox, but not Jewish; catholic, but not Roman.

It is neither denominational nor non-denominational ~ it is pre-denominational.

It has believed, taught, preserved, defended and died for the Faith of the Apostles since the Day of Pentecost 2000 years ago."
