Hmmm...I'm not sure about this.

OK, so it's one of many calf...what? Feet? Legs? Lower legs? I have no idea. Hang on...I'll check in my "500 recipes for meat dishes" by Marguerite Patten (published 1966)...so, it's either a shin or a leg. Naming it isn't the problem...I was more concerned that in amongst the lines of legs (or stacks of shins, if you prefer) there's this item to be found. Nice enough in itself, doubtless, but is that not a touch of nail fungus on the side? Surely that's not something you'd want to eat, is it?!
