Somerset House

Went to Somerset House to meet a friend for dinner. Lest you think that I am very posh, and get invited to places like Somerset House, I would like to reassure you that there is a restaurant there, called 'Tom's Kitchen', where I handed over money, and received food, in the normal way.

While waiting for my friend, I had a gin and tonic, which came with a straw. While looking round in a somewhat idle fashion, I lifted my glass a bit too high and a bit too energetically, because, before I knew it, the straw was stuck up my nose. The worst thing was that, as I tried to discreetly lower my glass, the straw stayed where it was........luckily, no-one saw me so nobody will ever know!
