The height of the flood

We went to Tintagel this morning, and found there was not much left, and what was probably had no connection with King Arthur. It was very up and down the paths, and some of the family gave up on some of the more inaccessible bits.
We did meet an old work colleague there though, which was quite bizarre as we were both well away from our normal haunts.

Then just around the coast to Boscastle, which was subject to terrible flood some years ago (and now subsequent geography projects). The arrow here showing just how high up it got.

We finished the day on Bude beach.
