St Cadoc's Church, Trevethin, Pontypool.

It is within the grounds of this church that my Great Grandparents Tomas and Augusta Jenkins are buried. Unfortunately I could not locate the exact place. They ran The George Hotel in Commercial Street, Pontypool. The pub had been run by my relations from 1896 until 1948.

The Church is dedicated to St Cadoc who lived in the 6th Century and was revered throughout Wales. In 1846 the first Rev. Thomas Davies M.A., built a Parsonage house (which became the Masons Arms) and today is sadly derelict.
