Black Kite Nest Building

Well at least I hope it is one of the Kites but after looking carefully the wing tips look rounded. I can't think what else it could be - we have several crows that often chase the birds of prey and constantly steal the chicken's food but their wing tips are similar to the kites. A mystery but hope that it's just the poor camera.

The photo was taken from inside the house - that is the roof gutter at the top of the frame and the nest is in the fir trees, left of centre.

Will probably post a few more photos of the kites as I am somewhat restricted at the moment in getting out & about.
