The Wee Blether

Took a drive to Kinlochard today.

Friends of ours have a little tearoom there called "The Wee Blether". It has the best home baking and is right on the shores of Loch Ard. On a nice day you can sit outside overlooking the Loch. Unfortunately it was a little to cold to sit outside today but we did sit at the table beside the dresser which displays the cakes. So the view was almost as good! You are always spoilt for choice. I opted for the victoria sponge which is probably my favourite.

After eating (too much) we went over the road to see their chickens and Ricky gave us some eggs.

Good day out but be warned, the slices of cake are enormous so don't eat to much of a first course.
