Lunar Eclipse 2008

Today was a wonderfully strange day. The mysterious alignment of objects in our solar system today made life interesting to live.

My friend had a telescope honed in on the moon that was beginning to capture the bending rays of the sun and I excitedly approached for a peak. I used the Digital Macro setting on my Canon and was able to capture this through the telescope. So happy how this turned out.

We were able to see Saturn and its rings as well!!! Couldn't get that shot but seeing those rings changes a man and his thoughts on existence.
