Bejeweled

My brother-in-law and family were up visiting and we all went to Loch Lomond on an outing. We ended up over on the Inchcailloch - which means the island of the nuns or the island of the old women - a reference to a reputed medieval settlement there.
A great day was had by all and many a scenic photo was taken but I couldn't resist these wee guys - humble dung beetles - and their imperial-purpled elegance.
