Oystercatchers

I think Oystercatchers are my favourite bird, I love the contrast of their bright orange beaks with the black and white feathers, and seeing them wading about on the shore line reminds me of seaside holidays when I was a little boy.

This pair have made a nest on some rocks on the coastal path at the back of our house, and I've been meaning to get a photo of them for some time.
