Sunbeams

Woodland

A hot and bright day. This afternoon N and I decided to drive out to our favourite wood to look at the bluebells since they seem to be out in most places. We were a week too early and will return for our annual pilgrimage another day soon. Instead here is a blip of the light filtering through the newly opened Beech tree leaves.

I was up most of the night babysitting next door as we had a call at about 10pm from B saying that he thought his wife was miscarrying and they had to rush off to the hospital over 20 miles away and needed someone to look after their daughter. L is still in hospital but so far the news is positive. May it remain that way.
