Richmond Bridge

Richmond Bridge is the oldest surviving bridge over the Thames in London - which you can tell by the steep incline to cross it. It is also the only London bridge to have been financed by tontine! The boats in the foreground are for hire from outside the garden terrace area of Richmond riverside, and were in heavy demand on a fine Sunday afternoon.
