Gadget Show Live

I've been waiting for a year to go to the Gadget Show Live event - I had tickets for last year's event but we couldn't go. So it was a much earlier start than usual for a Sunday - left the house at 8.30 am - luckily we only live 30/40 mins drive from the NEC so it could have been worse!

It was a good show, a bit like seeing a live edition of the Gadget Show, one of my favourite tv programmes. Couldn't get any particularly good photos though, we were a bit too far back for my camera to cope.

After watching the show, we went round the exhibition, too many stands to get round them all - we're not particularly into gaming so gave that section a miss, it was packed too so that was probably a good choice! Spent some time looking at cameras, headphones, speakers, Ipod/ipad/iphone accessories - filled in lots of competition entries so expect to get 000s of emails now!

Enjoyed the day - and still got the benefit of some of the beautiful sunshine as we had a barbecue when we got home and sat on the patio till about 8.30, such a lovely evening.
