Khachapuri: Russian Cheese Bread

I've wanted this recipe since I was a student at Kenyon, where it was served at Friday Cafe along with an amazing salad and a cup of cafe au chocolat.

This was my first experience cooking with yeast, and I'll be happy if it turns out even half as good as I remember the original being. I haven't tried it yet, but it smells promising.
