Paul by myself

Super Leeds.

It was day two Rachel's birthday celebrations, Saturday night out in town. Our first stop was Nation of Shopkeepers (I grabbed this quick blip on the way) where we were meeting Festival Phil, Sarah, Amy and Yorkshire Bob.

Upon arrival our entrance was barred by the door staff explaining that a band was due to play shortly and we could not gain entrance without something called a 'regulars card'. Well we didn't have one of these mysterious membership cards between the six of us looking to gain entrance to the bar, so we set off walking.

We didn't need to go far though, Sarah who was already there informed Rachel by mobile phone that there was no one on the door at the back at the courtyard entrance. So mere moments later we were happily seated in the beer garden with drinks in hand.

Of course the door staff noticed but did nothing but glare at us for a few minutes before wandering back to defend the door from more potential paying customers. I would like to thank them though as they managed to keep the bar relatively customer free with plenty of seats for all the whole time we were there.

All in all a great night out! Especially later on at Veritas and then Shed Bar who didn't have such ridiculous door policies.
