The Spinning Top

Whisper is an old man (11 years) and has retired from competions, so our training is a little different now. He does still perform at demostrations and he loves that he is allowed to be less accurate and a bit more silly. He is a dog with a sense of humour!

He does still need challenges though and today I taught him to fetch a spinning top.

One thing is to carry a big metal top in your mouth - another thing is to pick it up when it is spinning around on the surface and moving as you try to get hold of it.

Whisper thought it was great fun and was soon able to bring it back to me. Well done old man :-)
