The hills of Skye

A photograph taken from the Skye Bridge upon our return from a visit to Inverness. Though there are numerous opportunities to take pictures going to and returniong from a day in Inverness one really only wants to get the drive done.

It takes about two and a half hours each way so it is a long day out We departed from home at 7-15 am this morninf ands it was about a quarter to seven pm when we arrived home again.

In this picture one can also see the low flat island of Pabay to the right hand side which is privately owned. Most of the hills are part of either the Red Cuillins or the Black but to the left there are some individual hills.
