Finitude & beauty

As grumpy as I started the day, as cheerful was I as the day advanced. I 'had to' work in the countryside where I grew up, driving along winding roads, walking on narrow dikes under large oaks with fresh leaves, along blooming fruit trees, watching birds of prey hunting mice. I somewhat rediscovered Zeeland's beauty I guess. And all that with fabulous weather, what else could you wish for?

This image might not display that joy and beauty at first sight, but somehow it did for me. The calmness and beauty of the village green where these stones were placed gave me a certain peace of mind...
