World Heritage Day

Who said history was a load of balls... actually that might have been me...
So tonights blip is an event called Shadows of our Ancestors, which was created to celebrate World Heritage Day. I was roped into taking piccies by Dave, or World heritage geek man as I like to call him....not that it took much persuading...

Edinburgh is a Unesco site because of its skyline and its unique street patterns. This event used music and light and sound and a bit of avant guard dancing and performance art, to bring movement to some of the winding closes just off the Royal Mile. It climaxed with 12000 coloured balls being chucked down fleshmarket close...
