Once upon a time, our dogs Cooper and Boone were the Princes of the house. They enjoyed lounging around the house and eating the occasional human food tidbit, finished with a cool sip of bottled water (okay- not that last part). Since the arrival of our daughter five years ago, the poor dogs have been demoted to just that: dogs. They are doing a good job of looking pitiful here on their heated and air cooled back porch, while basking in the sun on their cedar dog bed. It sadly is a rough life for them, but hey, they aren't royalty.
