The Respect campaign fails to reach Subbuteo level

Our football match this evening was cancelled due to lack of numbers so a bit disappointed I wandered home only to be confronted by this shocking scene!

We see it all the time at football grounds the length and breadth of the country but to see referees being berated by so called professionals at Subbuteo level is a real shame.

Obviously the FA has a long way to go with their 'Respect' campaign before this type of hounding of referees is a thing of the past.

Anyway looks like it's all calmed down now, a straight red for the offending tackle and a couple of yellows for the dissenting mob. I only hope the ref can regain control of the game.

Shameful stuff.
