Eye of the Wasp

This wasp was well and truly caught in a web. Though still alive it was very feeble. Its one free antenna was waving about and it opened and closed its jaws. I photographed it dispassionately. After all it was only a wasp. Then on my computer screen I saw its eye.

Best seen large.

One year ago: a praying mantis eating his lunch. Not for the faint-hearted.
