Who am I?

I am found at the bottom of the garden under a Magnolia tree,
I have never been noticed before,
my colours have been tweaked a tad to make me look more pretty,
I am surrounded by dandelions but stand as tall and in some cases taller,
I have no other friends like me around to ask who am I?
Please can you let me know who I am soon,
because this weekend I think the mower is coming out,
and I would like to be remembered by a name and not just the flower under the magnolia tree.
