One - Zero - Zero

Superb Fairy Wren (or blue wren) Malurus cyaneus (Rear view).

This special event almost crept up on me without me realising it - just as well I spotted I was on 99 this morning.
As a result, I've been on the lookout all day for something special but my only chance was during a 2 hour visit to a park and wetlands this afternoon, so a bird blip will have to suffice.

This wren/flycatcher is common throughout Tasmania. The one pictured is an adult male in winter/eclipse plumage.
