Only on a Bank Holiday??

So does it happen when a sale is on NO! The washing machine breaks down on the Bank Holiday weekend. So for the first time in a very long time I collected all of our dirty washing, placed it in a massive holdall and drove to the nearest laundrette.

And ............. it was great!! I had forgot how much a part of local communities these practical little buildings were. My intention was to wash and then dry on the line, but I met so many nice people (And interesting) that I dried my kit too. It was such a "social" experience, I am now going to be sad when the new washing machine arrives on the 5th May.
