Topless Easter Egg Hunt

It is hard to believe the weather we have been having and today's 26.9 degrees in our garden was just incredible. We had invited friends round for an inter-family Wii competition but in the end we spent the entire time in the garden and pizza was swapped for a barbecue.

I suppose that the most bizarre fact of the day was that we had to wait for the sun to stop shining in the garden to do the Easter Egg Hunt that was part of the day for the kids as the chocolate eggs would simply have melted. Therefore today's blip is to commemorate the fact that, even allowing for the fact that Easter is a late one this year, it was like the height of summer and my son Alex can be seen here dressed only in swimming trunks searching for eggs; all previous such events have usually happened indoors due to wind and rain.

My alternative blip was a photo of the nearly empty Pimm's jug but I was afraid that there might be some ancient laws that forbid the use of Pimm's before June and I wouldn't want to offend anyone of a delicate disposition.
