Derby Day

Today was Derby Day... Dunfermline v Raith Rovers, in a top of the table tie, that would see the winners with 1 hand on the league trophy- So a game of MASSIVE importance!!!!

Infront of a sellout crowd, Raith took a lead, with there first shot on goal in the 40(ish) minute, in the pi$$ing rain, despite the pars dominating, and hitting the woodwork, However Come`th the man, Come`th the hour... Martin Hardie, a man on loan from St Johnstone scored twice in the second half, the winner a sublime free kick. Que mass celebrations from the Pars fans :)

At the end of play we are now 4 points ahead of Raith, with 2 games to go... We`ve not won the league yet.. but we`ve taken a massive step towards it! Next saturday we have Morton away (no easy game at any time) but with such an incentive of winning the league... i hope we can do it :)
