Lady's smock

There are tons of wildflowers out now, all of which I'd like to photograph and document this year if I can find the time. We've recently been given a Higher Level Stewardship agreement, which essentially means we get some extra money to manage the land in ways that will increase biodiversity. One of the key aims is to increase the numbers and varieties of wildflowers. This will then support more insect life, particularly bees and butterflies, which will in turn support more birds, etc etc.

This is a fairly common flower found on a lot of the wetter areas of the farm.
